Lisa’s intellect, communication and passion for the Alexander Technique make her extremely easy to work with and to learn from.  Lisa taught me in a way that allowed me to think differently about how I use myself day to day which in turn gave me the mental capacity to let go of habits.  I now am more self- aware and I no longer have the impulse to muscle my way through life, but rather release into it. Using myself well has also altered me mentally. I am much more present and confident in both my day to day routine and my acting. I look forward to learning from Lisa again as she makes the Alexander Technique extremely empowering and motivating.

Working with Lisa and learning about the Alexander Technique has been life changing. I initially was interested in improving my posture, but quickly learned that Alexander Technique is so much more. The concepts of body awareness and mind-body connection have helped not only improve my physical presence and daily efficiency of movement, but also have strengthened me mentally and spiritually. I have learned a lot through working with Lisa. When I arrive at a lesson, Lisa has a thoughtful plan of what she wants to work on that day, and she is also adept at adapting to any interests or concerns that I brought with me. I leave every lesson with my mind churning about what I have discovered. I have benefited from general improved posture and a greater ease of movement. Lisa has also helped me think though how to use my body in specific situations, including sitting at my desk, playing with my kids on the floor, playing golf, or lifting weights. Working with Lisa has really improved my life in many aspects.  She has helped me to maximize what I thought were innate functions such as breathing and standing, to more physical aspects of working out.  Working with Lisa has also helped me to manage and work through everyday stress and as well as unfortunate stressful situations.
